The Callingwood Park Skate Plaza in Edmonton consists of nearly 19,500 square feet of plaza lines combined to create a network of iconic ‘spots’ spread across the virtual cityscape. Elements within the plaza are intended to span virtually all skating styles and abilities while still being true to legitimate street form. Along with a wide assortment of classic street skating ledge, block, rail, and bank variations, a number of transition features modeled in the vein of famed natural urban tranny spots like Montreal’s Big O and the Guadalajara NQP are interspersed throughout the design. Its location is behind Oscar Romero High School (17760 69 Ave). The park's website is here.
