The Henderson SLP Skatepark features approximately 10,000 sqft of unique plaza, modern obstacle, and snake run influenced terrain carefully integrated into a high visibility green space adjacent to the entrance of the City’s popular Henderson Park. The final design of the park stemmed from an extensive public process which explored site opportunities and constraints, feature desires of the park’s primary user groups, park sponsorship opportunities, and skateable artistic installations referencing Lethbridge’s coal mining history and famed High-Level train bridge.
