Formerly located behind the Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre in West Kelowna (now replaced by the new West Kelowna Skatepark in Memorial Park), was a destination for local families, youth, and athletes before being  A true community initiative, the skatepark was a result of the efforts of the Westside Skatepark Society and local community members who raised funds and awareness to go towards the park’s construction. Derived from thorough community consultation process, the skatepark design integrated traditional bowl flow with modern street elements. The park featured a large combi-bowl with pool coping and imprinted tile, compact mini bowl, multiple stairs sets, and open tech area – truly something for every style and ability level!
