Located in the City’s prized riverside Wascana Park, the Regina Skate Plaza features nearly 17,000 sqft of unique urban skate terrain punctuated with numerous granite accents and 3 major ‘green’ islands. The design was developed over a 2 year period in conjunction with local skaters, surrounding community groups, and a diverse team of planners from the Wascana Centre Authority. The facility is the first of its kind in Saskatchewan and served as the host for the 2008 DC Nationals Skateboarding Contest shortly after opening.
